Safe Sex Education and Events Sponsorship and Support
GLYDE Health actively participates in many safe sex education programs, conferences and events operated by schools, universities, health workers, NSPs, AIDS Councils, sex workers outreach programs and indigenous organisations. It has recently supported the ACON 2012 Honour Awards and numerous activities for World Aids Day 2012 including support for the Pacific Friends of the Global Fund which works to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS in the Asia Pacific region. It was also proud to participate in the 20th anniversary of the landmark Australian Grim Reaper Campaign against HIV/AIDS.
GLYDE Health has helped sexual health workers attend World AIDS Conferences and has assisted a graduate student undertake a Masters Degree in Sexual Health. GLYDE believes in the importance of promoting safe sex by forming strategic alliances with many Australian organisations which perform invaluable services in the fight to prevent new incidences of HIV/AIDS as well as supporting people who live with the disease.
For over 20 years, GLYDE has worked closely with many organisations in Australia which help educate the public on the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies.
Fundraising
GLYDE has trademarked the Red Ribbon® Condom specifically to assist fund raising activities conducted by HIV/AIDS organisations around the world . The condom, made from the highest quality latex with its distinctive Red Ribbon symbol on the foil is an excellent product for HIV/AIDS organisations to on-sell, or offer to the public in exchange for a cash donation.
